History of Leicester Community Academy

In The Name Of Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'alaah The Most Gracious, The Most Merciful

The Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam asked the ALMIGHTY O My Lord! Advance me in Knowledge. (Holy Quran 20:114)

Education, Knowledge and learning has traditionally been divided into two categories revealed knowledge (Quran and Prophetic sayings) and acquired knowledge (natural sciences, physics, astronomy, history, mathematics etc.) There has been great need in the society to have quality education in a safe and disciplined environment.

Leicester Community Academy is an independent school, registered with the Department for Education (DfE) and HMI Ofsted.

Through the mercy of the Almighty Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'alaah, our Academy provides a unique experience based on the Qur’an and Sunnah of our Prophet Muhammad Sallallahu Alayhi Wasallam (Peace be upon him), where full-time schooling, non-selective process, equal opportunity and an open-door policy is at the centre of the Academy's ethos.

We have the following secondary classes:

  • Secondary girls - Years 7 - 11 (Ages 11-16 years)
  • Secondary boys - Years 7 - 11 (Ages 11-16 years)

Both Secondary Departments have a Library where the pupils are allowed to borrow books.

We are also using Spence Street Sports Centre, where we take the students for P.E. and other sports activities.

The Future

Insha-Allah we pray we can hold As Levels & GNVQ classes in the near future to accommodate our pupils and students from the community to attain further education at the Academy.

Please continue with your duas and support, Insha-Allah together we can build and outstanding Academy!
